Statement from the Swedish-Cuban Association
Dear Cuba Solidarity Friends in Europe,
The Swedish-Cuban Association has made the enclosed brief statement about the ongoing contrarevolutionary campaign against Cuba. We are convinced that Cuba and the solidarity movement shall expose it all and that we can involve more people in the struggle against the US blockade and for a better world.
Looking forward to our contact and cooperation in the battles ahead.
Yours in Solidarity from the Swedish-Cuban Association

Statement
The Streets of Cuba belong to the Revolution!
The Swedish-Cuban Association intensifies its solidarity for Cuba. Today we sent a further 5 000 Euros to mediCuba-Europa on top of the 74 000 Euros sent earlier this year. It is used for syringes and other medical supplies Cuba urgently needs for its “Made in Cuba” Covid-19 vaccines. Other Latin American countries will also benefit from Cuba’s vaccines. More fund-raising for our account “Medicines for Cuba” continues urgently.
In April our two Nordic containers filled with donations arrived in Cuba. Planning for more containers is under way.
These days Cuba is in focus in the mainstream media. We take advantage of this attention created around Cuba by spreading as much information as we can in social media, on our web www.svensk.kubanska.se, in our street activities, our publications, our fliers. We demand space in mainstream media. We urge our Government to release aid funds for Cuba!
We condemn the US blockade! We remind people that in his presidential campaign Joe Biden promised to take action against the 243 sanctions Trump had ordered to tighten the blockade, but Biden has done nothing. In the same way as Trump gave executive orders to worsen the blockade, Biden has the power to eradicate the blockade.
The mainstream media gives voice to people in Miami who plead for a “humanitarian corridor” to Cuba, i.e. a US intervention that always includes military forces. The Mayor of Miami says bombing Cuba should be considered! These people don’t say a word of condemnation against the criminal blockade. We make special efforts to expose the hypocrisy of all the threats and vile
propaganda, and also how the imperialists are active in using social media in efforts to manipulate people with the help of well-paid stooges in Cuba.
• The struggle continues!
• Down with the blockade!
• Solidarity with Cuba!
