We have launched this Urgent call for Peace and Sovereignty which has
been signed already by over 50 Members of the UK parliament and all the
Trade Unions here as well as thousands of individuals. The aim is to
build the broadest possible opposition to the real threat of US
aggression against Cuba. We will be publishing names of signers and
adding news stories, press reports etc around this campaign over the
next days and weeks.

Sovereignty and say no to intervention in Cuba and Latin America.

On Sunday 12 January President Donald Trump gave Cuba an ultimatum on
his Truth Social channel. He said they would receive no more Venezuelan
oil and warned Havana to “make a deal… before it is too late.”

Following illegal US military operations against Venezuela, including
the capture of President Nicolás Maduro, peace and stability in the
region are in immediate danger.

CSC has launched an urgent Call for Peace and Sovereignty, demanding
swift and public action from the British government and the
international community to uphold international law and reject any
threat of military force against Cuba or other sovereign states.

We must make our voices heard against intervention, coercion, and
threats that undermine the right of peoples to determine their own
future. Please sign and share the call today. Silence and delay only
increase the risk of further escalation.
